Brennan Energy Assessors Ltd. provides quality assured Building Energy Rating Certificates. In order to Energy Rate a dwelling our Assessors follow the following process:
1.We examine the plans/drawings of the dwelling
2.Using the information from the drawings we calculate the BER- this is achieved by following standardised procedures using an approved calculation Methodology set out by Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI)
3.On Completion we log the BER with SEI
4.On receipt of the BER Certificate from SEI we issue the following documents to our Client:
i.The BER Certificate - this is valid for 10 years (provided no major Renovation Works have been carried out to the dwelling)
ii.A detailed Report - This Report outlines the specific details of the assessment and confirms whether or not the dwelling is built in accordance with Current Building Regulations
iii.An Advisory Report - This Report gives advice on various aspects of the Building i.e. the Building fabric, Ventilation, Space and water heating etc.
